Personal Training
Personal training helps create personalized programs that are practical, efficient, safe, and successful. Personal training can also be available to accommodate individuals with chronic health problems, or those seeking more rigorous training, such as athletes, body builders, and high level exercisers.
Personal trainers design specific programs for a variety of individuals including adults, athletes, and those with special needs or interests. Some individuals have a specific goal such as weight loss, increase endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, energy, and motivation which can be accomplished by using a personal trainer. Having a personal trainer can assist a person making that first step, as well as adding variety, motivation, and personal attention to an individual plan.
Aquatics
Aquatic exercise is a perfect way to exercise for people of all ages and physical ability. Aquatic exercise is a low impact exercise which makes it great for people pain or weight issues. The water can provide a total body workout and can be a great way to improve general strength, endurance, and cardiovascular fitness. The resistance of the water helps stimulate circulation to the muscles.
Swimming is a very effective form of exercise, depending on your weight, you could burn an average of 250-520 calories in a half an hour of swimming. Water Aerobics can burn between 400 and 500 calories in one hour.
Aquatic aerobics and swimming are a great way to cross-train and diversify your workout. The best part is that you can work at your own pace.

Assessment
The fitness assessment includes testing the five components of physical fitness: aerobic capacity, body composition, muscular strength, muscular endurance, and flexibility. The test is conducted by a degreed exercise physiologist and takes about forty-five minutes. This evaluation can give members a general understanding of where their fitness levels are at the start of their program. With the results of the test and the member’s special needs and goals, a exercise program is designed.
Prior to scheduling your fitness assessment, each member is required to fill out the following paperwork:
- Health History Questionnaire
- Possible Physician Consent form
- Wellness Survey
- Lipid Profile
